Occasionally, when sailing your ship, you will hear the ship sailing song played in the game Sid Meier's Pirates.

Possible Hint of Next Game
After the very first Desmond mission, Shaun tells Desmond he wants to "dial the Animus all the way back to the first civilization" and see what it was like. This may be a hint of a sequel or DLC in the First Civilization.

FRENCH FLAG

If you look at hanging laundery carefully, you will notice that they are arranged like the French flag.
Just like in Brotherhood and Revelations, the player can unlock various alternate Outfits for Connor to wear in-game by meeting certain objectives or collections.

UNLOCKABLE COSTUMES NOTEAll of the unlockable costumes appear in all of the cutscenes when replaying a mission. Unfortunately, this does not apply to Connor's costume when he purchases the new color upgrade from the General Store (which don't appear in cutscenes).

The Ezio's Robes is an unlockable costume, which is available forpurchase from Ubisoft's Uplay service for 30 UPlay Points.
The costume is inspired by the Assassin robes worn by Ezio Auditore da Firenze during the events of Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, giving Connor the classic cape and elaborate metal armor design of the Renaissance-era Assassin. The Ezio costume does not affect Connor gameplay-wise.

Kanien'keha:ka Outfit

NativeOutfit.jpg
The Kanien'keha:ka Outfit is an unlockable costume based on the Native American garb worn by Connor during Sequence 4 and 5. Collect all of the Feathers in the Frontier to unlock this costume at the Homestead.

Prisoner Clothes

The Prisoner Clothes is an unlockable outfit that was first seen in Sequence 8. Complete Sequence 8 to unlock this costume at the Homestead.
Pivot Points are special Collectibles that unlock once you successfully beat the Main Story, and are connected to the Internet. Pivot points unlock "cheats" in the Animus. The locations for pivot points are chosen randomly, selecting spots where another player has placed a point. That means that where you place the pivots will affect the location of them in someone else's game. Every person's locations will be different, but you can use the points that you have collected to help narrow your search further. New pivots spawn every 15 minutes.
Each pivot is has a name of its own. Once the epilogue to the game ends, you will earn 3 out of the 12 possible pivot points: Tau, Iota and Zeta. These pivots do not have a function of their own; however, upon being found the other 9 provide you with some new features called Animus Hacks (these are explained in detail below.)
A brief tutorial will show up, in which 2 pivot points are already set in the map and the third one is free for you to employ. The objective is to use the pivot points to reduce the area in which you should search for the next pivot; said area is highlighted in green. Once you do so, you can walk around until a white square mark is shown in your map. The square indicates the exact location of the pivot point, which is symbolized by a polygon unicorn floating above the ground or some building. As you progress, you will be able to use more pivots to make the process easier.
At any time you can access the game menu, where the option for pivot points will be available. The first option of the sub-menu will have information about the pivot points, such as the region in which they can be found. In the second sub-menu you manage the pivot points, as these cannot be used directly over the main map, but instead have one of their own.
Only with Sigma, Eta and Tau can progress be saved, with all other hacks game saves will not be active.

Lucid Memory Artifacts are collectable items exclusive to the Tyranny of King Washington (DLC), scattered throughout the Frontier, Boston and New York that hold images of actual events that occurred in the original time line of Assassin's Creed III.

The Infamy

The first artifact can be found on the far right of the map inside of a burnt out building. Look for a table in th middle of the area. The image is of the memory of Connor's final encounter with Charles Lee.

The Second artifacts is located to the far left of the map where you tail Israel Putnam in the Justice Served mission. In the tent where you first locate him during the mission, it's on the table. The Image is a Memory of Connor and George Washington in the same tent.

The third and final artifact is at the very top right of the Frontier located near the base of a waterfal. On the ground, there is an Assassin's symbol in the dirt. Interact with it and you'll see a memory of youngRatohnhake:ton sitting with the Clan Mother, Kanien'kehá:ka.

The Betrayal

The first artifact for this DLC is located on the rooftop of a house. It's a rifle that shows us an image of young Connor standing on buildings looking out into the distance.

Click the images to enlarge them.
The second is a box on the ground in a farm like area next to a tree where a civilian is being hung. This shows us an image of the butcher Assassin originally recruited by Connor.

The last one is under an outpost on a picnic table. This artifact gives us an up close image of Connors old and lost friend, Achilles Davenport.

The Redemption

The first memory is in the bottom left of the map inside a fort on a table. The image shows our hero Connor along side his father, Haytham Kenwayduring one of their father son moments.

Clck the images to enlarge them.
The second fragment can be found north of the first memory on a lynching post. Interact with the lynch on the right to get an image of a very familiar person about to be hung for their crimes.

The third and final Lucid Memory Artifact is found near the upper right of the map passed the pyramid. When interacting, the image shows us Desmond during his final moment before he saved the world from the solar flare.

Memory Fragments

Memory fragments can be unlocked by collecting all Lucid Memory artifacts within the specific episode of the Tyranny of King Washington. The memories tease what may be the events that took place before Connor mysteriously wakes up in a world where the America he fought for is falling apart under the tyrannical rule of King Washington.
